Peter Michael Jordan Homicide Investigation Update

On Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 6:06 p.m. officers with the Huntersville Police Department were dispatched to 16916 Landings Drive, Apt. G in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon arrival officers discovered Peter Michael Jordan, W/M, DOB: 11/30/1994, on scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Mr. Jordan died as a result of those injuries. 

The Huntersville Police Department has received numerous tips since the investigation has begun.  At this time we continue to ask the public for their continued help as we remain vigilant locating those responsible for Peter Jordan’s death.  No new information will be released about the investigation at this point.

At the request of the family of Peter Jordan the Huntersville Police Department has been asked to release a statement by the family to the public.  The family asks that their privacy remain intact and media outlets respect their wishes and allow them time to grieve.  Any questions regarding their statement are to be directed to the Huntersville Police Department and NOT the family of Peter Jordan. 

UPDATE: The family of Peter Jordan has increased their reward to $9,000 to anyone with information that would lead to an arrest of the person or persons responsible for Peter’s death.  The Peter Michael Jordan Memorial Fund has been created and donations can be made at any local Wells Fargo Bank.  The funds collected through the memorial fund will be allocated to the reward offered by the family and added to the $1,000.00 reward given by Crime Stoppers which at this time totals $10,000.00
